EMERGENCY ACTION FOR ALISA
Tuesday at GAIA HQ
Alisa Darbinyan, a Glendale violin teacher and professional musician, has been detained by ICE since August 2. She is now being held in Texas, thousands of miles from her husband, home, students, and attorneys.
Her family is fighting to get her released. We want to help bring her back to California so they can continue that fight from home.
JOIN US TUESDAY FOR AN EMERGENCY PHONE & EMAIL ZAP
We will spend the evening contacting Governor Gavin Newsom and Senator Adam Schiff, demanding that their offices take action on Alisa's case.
We will:
Call their offices together.
Send emails and messages.
Handwrite personal letters directly to Newsom and Schiff.
Ask them to demand answers from ICE and advocate for Alisa's return to California.
We'll provide the information, scripts, letter-writing materials, and everything else you need.
Can't make it to GAIA HQ? You can still join us from wherever you are. Call their offices, send an email, or write your own letter and let them know that people across California are demanding action for Alisa.
