Join us.
Open Tactics and Strategy And Non Violent Direct Action Training.
TACTICS, STRATEGY & NONVIOLENT DIRECT ACTION TRAINING
A playful, powerful, hands-on movement laboratory
Before we take the streets for a citywide day of action, we’re kicking things off with a two-hour interactive training at GAIA HQ that’s equal parts movement school, strategy game, and collective imagination experiment.
This is not a lecture.
This is learn-by-doing.
Together, we’ll break into small affinity groups and participate in a live, gamified campaign simulation where Los Angeles has been taken over by a Big Orange Bad Guy, masked federal agents are disappearing “undesirables,” and corporations are making a killing off the whole thing.
Your job?
Figure out how to take the system down. Nonviolently, creatively, and strategically.
WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO
Learn the difference between strategy and tactics (and why movements fail when they confuse the two)
Power-map corporations, oligarchs, financiers, media, and state actors
Practice nonviolent direct action tactics from disruption to divestment campaigns
Design actions inside affinity groups and see how power actually responds
Adapt when backlash hits and escalate collectively toward real leverage
Measure success beyond vibes, clicks, or crowd size
All of this happens through a fast-paced, playful training game where every group gets to act, adapt, and collaborate toward a shared strategy.
WHO’S JOINING US
This training is being facilitated by experienced organizers and movement builders from around the country, including:
Jolly Good Ginger
Da Woke Farmer
Chelsea Gods
plus a whole crew of seasoned activists who’ve run campaigns, shut down corporations, and survived the backlash.
These are people who’ve won fights, made mistakes, learned the hard way. And are excited to train with you.
WHY THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN
Because:
You’ll be making decisions, not taking notes
You’ll be working in teams, not sitting silently
You’ll be laughing, plotting, role-playing, and building together
And you’ll leave with real skills you can use that same day in the streets
This training is designed to be accessible for first-timers and deeply satisfying for experienced organizers.
WHY IT MATTERS
We believe movements win when people:
Understand power
Act collectively
Stay nonviolent and disciplined
And know how to turn pressure into change
This training is how we practice that together.
Come for the fun.
Stay for the skills.
Leave ready to move power.
Public Townhall Volunteer Meeting
ICE Breakers Public Town Hall + Volunteer Meeting
Join us as we build the next phase of the movement!
We’re gathering to break down everything we accomplished in December. From our escalating Spotify actions to our ongoing Home Depot pressure campaign, And to map out how we’re ramping things up for the next wave. Momentum is real, and we’re ready to push even harder.
We’ll also be talking about our art pop-up, how powerful it was as a community touchpoint, and the future pop-ups we’re bringing to neighborhoods across the city. Plus: an update on our canvassing program and why hitting the streets and talking directly with our community has been one of the most impactful things we’ve done.
This meeting is open to everyone — and we are actively looking for folks ready to take on volunteer roles as we scale up. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to get involved… this is it.
✊ Come through. Bring ideas. Bring energy. Let’s grow the team and grow the power.

Resistance Cinema Presents: Robo Cop
Resistance Cinema Presents: ROBOCOP
12/21/25 — 7:15pm
Join Break ICE LA + community in this free, radical space!
“Robocop” isn’t just an ‘80s sci-fi classic, It’s a razor-sharp satire about policing, corporate power, privatization, and what happens when profit gets prioritized over people. Watching it now, in the middle of modern political battles over state violence and corporate contracts with agencies like ICE, the parallels hit hard. This film was a warning. We’re living in what it warned us about.
This event is FREE, open to everyone, and built for community.
We do accept donations at the door to help fund more Resistance Cinema screenings and keep this project going strong.
Bring friends. Bring energy. Bring conversation.
Let’s watch, analyze, and organize together.
See you 12/21 at 7:15pm!

Friday Spotify protest and Pizza Party!
FRIDAY: SPOTIFY PROTEST 4-6pm @ 555 Mateo (Spotify Corporate HQ)
We’ve been out here for weeks and every single time our crowd grows. Momentum is on our side. And we’re not backing down until Spotify leads the way on corporate accountability and publicly cuts every tie to ICE.
Running ICE recruitment ads while our city is in a state of emergency is a slap in the face to every family terrorized by this criminal agency. It’s a reminder of the pain and suffering our community has endured… and Spotify is cashing in.
Meanwhile? Spotify’s stock is tanking. Customers are jumping ship. And we’re pulling up right to their front door to make sure they hear us loud and clear.
Come hold a sign.
Come speak as a local artist.
Come chant with us.
Come just to say F* ICE**.
See you Friday. Let’s turn it up.
PS. We’re getting pizza somewhere close after so stick around :)
Spotify HQ Weekly protest planning meeting.
Spotify “You’re Canceled” Weekly Protest Planning Meeting
Join us as we organize the next wave of pressure against Spotify for running ICE recruitment ads. Every week, we meet to plan tactics, finalize protest roles, create materials, and coordinate outreach for our demonstrations at Spotify HQ (555 Mateo). This is where we build, sharpen, and escalate together.
Whether you’re into art, chanting, logistics, social media, or just want to show up and help shut down ICE propaganda, there’s a place for you at the table. Come plug in, bring ideas, and help us keep the heat on Spotify until they drop the ICE ads for good.
ICE Breakers October Public Town Hall!
October 4th Ice Breakers Town Hall
On Saturday, October 4th, the Ice Breakers campaign is gathering for our next Town Hall meeting.
Town Halls are where we come together as a community. Members, organizers, volunteers, and allies, to make decisions collectively. This isn’t a top-down meeting; it’s a space where every voice matters and where strategy is shaped by those on the ground.
At this Town Hall, we’ll focus on crafting the Home Depot campaign plan. Together, we’ll:
Share updates on coalition work happening across Los Angeles
Break down tactics and strategies for confronting Home Depot’s complicity with ICE
Offer nonviolent direct action training and tactics workshops
Build volunteer roles, especially for Home Depot patrols and community outreach
We are meeting because the time to act is now. ICE raids and corporate collusion continue to threaten our communities. The Home Depot campaign is our chance to show visible resistance, stand with day laborers, and send a message that Los Angeles will not be complicit.
This Town Hall is about building the plan together. Your ideas, your energy, and your presence are what will make this campaign powerful.

Hear updates on the campaign and what’s at stake.
Share your voice on strategies to keep ICE out of Home Depot.
Choose roles where you can plug in and make a real impact.
Connect with neighbors, families, and artists who care about justice.
