PUBLIC TOWNHALL SEPTEMBER 4
Friday, September 4, 2026
Our movements are strongest when the people who make them possible have a voice.
On September 4, ICE Breakers is holding our Public Townhall, an open space for our community to come together, hear what's happening, ask questions, share ideas, raise concerns, and help shape where we go next.
WHAT IS A PUBLIC TOWNHALL?
A Public Townhall is more than a meeting. It is an opportunity for our community to directly participate in the direction of our organizing.
We come together to:
Hear updates about ongoing campaigns and actions
Talk openly about what is working—and what isn't
Share ideas for new campaigns and tactics
Bring forward concerns, questions, and proposals
Connect people who want to get more involved
Help determine what we organize around next
We believe organizing should not happen behind closed doors. The people who show up, organize, canvass, protest, donate, volunteer, and build this movement should have a voice in shaping it.
WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Real grassroots power doesn't come from waiting for someone else to fix things.
It comes from people organizing together.
The Public Townhall is one of the ways we keep our organizing accountable to the community rather than to corporations, politicians, wealthy donors, or institutions.
You don't need to be an organizer. You don't need to have all the answers. You just need to care enough to show up.
If you've been wondering how to get involved, this is a great place to start.
