Resistance Cinema Presents: BlacKkKlansman

Resistance Cinema returns with a powerful screening of Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman. A blistering, darkly funny, and deeply unsettling true story of resistance from within the belly of white supremacy. Set in the 1970s but unmistakably relevant today, the film follows Ron Stallworth, the first Black detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department, as he infiltrates the Ku Klux Klan with the help of a Jewish colleague, exposing the banality, violence, and persistence of organized hate.
This is not just a movie night. It’s a collective reckoning with history, policing, fascism, and the ways white supremacist movements rebrand and resurface across generations. BlacKkKlansman forces us to confront how closely the past mirrors the present, and why resistance, solidarity, and vigilance remain necessary.
Join us for an evening of cinema as a tool for political education, cultural resistance, and shared reflection.
